LA Hotel: Kimpton La Peer

October 22, 2018 La Peer Hotel, Los Angeles

LA Hotel: Kimpton La Peer

I feel like LA is a place I’m so comfortable with now, I visit multiple times a year, have stayed in a handful of different hotels and always rent a car so I can experience all the neighbourhoods. This past trip, I decided to stay at
La Peer, a Kimpton hotel and it may have been one of my favorite hotel experiences in LA yet.

Firstly, you can't really beat this location if you are looking to stay in West Hollywood. Situated right between Melrose and Santa Monica, La Peer hotel sits on a nice little side street with walking distance to so many resturants, shops and cafes. We were able to walk to dinner most nights (something unheard of in LA) and grab coffee and smoothie bowls near by with the bikes provided by the hotel! I truly loved waking up here.

What I really appreciated most about La Peer were the thoughtful details around your hotel experience. They had a complimentary coffee station in the morning with many delicious options, complimentary wine in the evening, little notes left on our bedside with the daily weather and overall amazing hospitality.

Our rooms were incredibly spacious, which I truly appreciate more than anything lately. It makes it feel like you are in your own space to relax at the end of a busy day.

I've heard many good things about Kimpton hotels over the years but this surpassed my expectations. The overall aesthetic and design was refreshing and the hotels dining areas were my decor dreams come true. Scroll down to see more of the bar areas. We never actually had a chance to eat at the hotel as I always have a list of resturants I want to tackle in LA but I heard amazing things about the menu from local friends!

I would definitely stay here again and would recommend it to anyone looking for a West Hollywood hotel with class, charm and comfort. And if you happen to not need a place to stay, well then just stop by La Peer for a drink, as the bars are another gorgeous touch to this space.
