Buongiorno from Italy! Apologies for my radio silence this past week on the blog but I was simply on vacation mode. With all my travel posts, I know it seems like I may be on vacation a lot but the truth is, my boyfriend and I are usually travelling for work. I’m usually working with a brand or creating content for the blog when travelling and if I’m on one of his work trips, he is usually DJ’ing for a brand. Which means we are jumping around from event to event with little down time.
Written By Kayla SeahThis was the first time in a year that we were travelling for the sake of travelling. We spent a week on a boat with family, sailing from Portofino to Cinque Terre, eating, drinking, tanning and trying our best to shut off from work. It was truly needed and I feel grateful to have experienced this type of holiday with loved ones. We spent most of our time on the boat but we did get off during the evenings to have dinner and explore this charming area. Portofino and Santa Margherita Ligure are truly an Italian dream come true.
We took these pictures while having lunch at Grand Hotel Miramare in Santa Margherita, which felt like we had arrived on a Wes Anderson set. Also the best spot to pull out this Zimmerman dress from The Outnet I had been saving. A picture perfect backdrop and I would highly recommend either staying here or coming by for food or a drink! We are off still travelling through Italy at the moment but we are back in work mode and I have to say it feels nice to turn my brain on again. That's why holidays and rest are so needed, it really helps you reset and get excited about work again!
