What We've Been Watching

What We've Been Watching

There is something about Fall that makes me want to curl up on the couch more than ever and watch a new series, movie or documentary. I’m always here to update you on what’s been sparking my interest lately, so here is what Guillaume and I have currently loved watching:

Written By Kayla Seah

1. The Great Hack -Wow, I feel so naive that I wasn't knowledgeable on this subject! This documentary explores the Cambridge Analytica scandal with Facebook, that helped shape the 2016 presidential election amongst other global events. It's a must watch to realize the dark side of social media. (available on Netflix)

2. Inside Bill's Brain - A fascinating insight into Big Gates mind, one of the most intelligent people on the earth. This doc really motivated me in a different way of thinking and makes you realize just how hard people have to work to get what they want. (available on Netflix)

3. Chasing Happiness - Okay, first off let me say I've never really been a huge Jonas Brothers fan. It's not like I had anything against them, I just never really thought much about their music and I didn't know a lot about them. Last week, Guillaume and I were searching through Amazon Prime and decided to turn on their documentary for fun to see what it was all about. We were both pleasantly surprised at how much we enjoyed it, it gives great insight into who these brothers really are, the ups and downs they went through and the misconceptions we all probably have on them. It's worth a watch!

4. Savage x Fenty- During NYFW, I had heard how insane of a show Rihanna put on for her Savage x Fenty collection. However, there was no social media coverage on it as everyone was asked to hand in their phones at the door. Everything was kept under wraps until it aired on Amazon Prime and it was worth the wait. This is not your standard fashion show! This is a full on production with different performances, dancers, models and installations. It's incredible and it makes me love Rihanna even more.
