4 Amazing Superfood Smoothies
MANGO BANANA COCONUT SMOOTHIE WITH GOJI BERRIES: This is easily one of my favourite fruit combinations in a smoothie… ever. Somehow when mango, bananas and coconut collide in a blender they create this delicious creamy texture that you just can’t get with all fruits. It kind of tastes like ice cream. MATCHA BANANA SMOOTHIE: Matcha is a fine powder green tea that boosts your metabolism and lowers cholesterol; how can you beat that? It also tastes fantastic and is the perfect addition to a healthy smoothie. See more here.
BLUEBERRY FLAX SMOOTHIE WITH GOJI AND MULBERRIES: I usually drink a smoothie before or after my workout; if I have an early gym session I find it’s a really good way to wake my body up without having to eat anything too heavy. BERRY COCONUT SMOOTHIE WITH CHIA SEEDS: I can’t believe what these tiny little seeds can do for your body! I’ve become so obsessed with this superfood that I recently ordered a kilo to my doorstep… my boyfriend thinks I’m a little crazy. The cool thing about Chia seeds is that they are flavourless, so you can literally sprinkle them on anything. I like them best in my smoothies, yoghurt, or on top of salads. See the recipe here.
