Banana Protein Smoothie Bowl

If you start your mornings off the right way, I believe the rest of your day can run a lot smoother than expected. This banana protein smoothie bowl is the way I like to start my mornings lately, it’s packed with nutrition, keeps you full for hours and completely gluten-dairy free. Try it after a work out too and mix up the toppings ever so often.

Banana Protein Smoothie Bowl

2 Frozen Bananas
3/4 cup almond or coconut milk (unsweetened)
1 tsp honey (add maple syrup if you want to keep it vegan)
1/4 tsp cinnamon
1 tbsp maca powder
1 tbsp vanilla protein powder (optional)

Toppings:
Strawberries
Banana
1 tbsp. chopped almonds raw
1 tsp. cocoa nibs
1 tbsp. coconut (fresh or shredded)
1 tbsp. chia seeds
1 date chopped
1 tbsp. almond butter

Directions: 
Blend all smoothie ingredients together. Finish with toppings!
