I was recently in a conversation with a group of people discussing our zodiac signs and the traits that go with them. Once I started learning about everyones character, I felt like I could be a combination of couple signs. I’m a virgo, which basically means my mind is constantly on the go, I’m usually thinking about what’s next and you can guarantee I have a to-do list written down somewhere in my vicinity. However, I also feel as much as I carry those traits which are valuable to a business, relationships and my lifestyle, I also have another more relaxed side of me that is a bit more easy going and can truly appreciate being in the moment. I’ve come to realized that nothing brings that side out more in me than being by the water. The sound, the scene, the smell – takes away all my to-do lists and allows me to slow down and just be. The balance of finding this calming side of myself has been so beneficial in the recent months, it has allowed me to take a step back and let life take it’s course. You can’t control it all and sometimes that’s okay. So whenever I’m feeling overwhelmed, I know now that a visit to any body of water will feed the soul in a way that nothing else can. What calms you?
