It's All In the Details

I thought it would be good to introduce a weekly post that shares the details in my life that make my days that much better. I love finding the beauty in the simple things that can make a girl smile, which is why I settled on the calling these posts ‘It’s All in the Details’… a little tag line I always turn back to. This week is all about:
1. Fresh daisies on my bedside table always make me happy when I wake up. These have been my favourite flower ever since I saw You’ve Got Mail as a little girl. “Don’t you think daisies are the friendliest flowers?”
2. My best creative thinking happens when I can sit down with a good magazine and some fresh seasonal berries!
3. I finally got my hands on leopard sneakers and I haven’t stopped wearing them since. They are the perfect addition to all my basic outfits.
4. An image from the DIY shoot I did on how to make candied rose petals. A simple idea that makes the prettiest garnish! Add them to a cupcake, a layered cake or keep them in a pretty bowl on a side table. Find step by step process over here.
