Market to Market

You’ve heard me say it before and I’ll say it again: one of my favourite things about living in Europe is the market life. It’s incredible how many wonderful markets there are in Berlin; whether you’re looking for antique furniture, vintage clothes, organic food or art, this city has it all. Even when we don’t plan on hitting the market, we somehow always end up at one, browsing through all the goodness. Kollwitzplatz Markt in Prenzlauer Berg is quickly becoming part of our Saturday morning routine..I mean, how can it not when it’s literally around the corner from our place? This is specifically an organic market filled with the freshest of produce, cheeses, baked goods and — my favourite — peonies. We picked up all the essentials this past Saturday and headed straight to the park for a picnic; the perfect start to a gorgeous sunny weekend in Berlin.
