September Blooms

I usually favour clean white, ivory or blush pink roses for around our home, but something about the start of a new month got me in the mood to try something new. I biked down to my favourite floral shop in the city, Bloomy Days, and dared to pick out some long stem greenery, carnations, babies breath and bold pink flowers. I really had no idea what I was going to make out of these four very different florals, but somehow when I got home it all kind of came together. My conclusion: long stem flowers + really high ceilings do wonders for a room. A pop of colour did my monochromatic decor some good and babies breath are easy, long-lasting flowers that makes a great filler. I love them all but I did have to do a white rose pick-up mid-week… some habits can’t be broken.
