The Best Thing I Did During My Last Facial

The Best Thing I Did During My Last Facial

I go for facials once a month and truthfully I think it’s the best money I spend. Last week I went for my normal facial but asked my facialist about adding on dermablading. I had seen demablading tools on instagram recently but I’m not someone who likes to really play around with anything on my face, I tend to leave that stuff to the experts. So if you don’t know what dermablading is, it’s a simple procedure where they take a medical blade and gently shave off the top surface of your skin, removing dead skin cell and fine hairs also known as “peach fuzz.” My facialist enthusiastically said yes and told me it would be a game changer and oh what she was right…

Firstly, don't be scared it doesn't hurt at all, you actually barely feel it and it takes a total of 10 - 15 minutes. My skin didn't react differently but some may experience a little redness afterwards, however it's nothing to be worried about! It was an additional $100, which I know is a little much but she told me I would only have to do it every 2-3 months.

I usually leave my facials feeling pretty glowy but this time it was taken to a whole other level. The best part? Over the next few days my skin felt softer than it ever has, my skin looked like glass and the glow was incredible. Then I put on make up for the first time after demerablading and oh my god my makeup just glided on like silk! I can't say enough good things about dermablading, do yourself a favour and ask your facalist about it next time - I swear you won't regret this!
